I Love Bowties No. 1
Simply magical. If you know me, than you know that I usually have to wear a bowtie several times a week for work, and I would really love to trade in my black one for this gem.
Weekly Record Shopping Cart
I figured this would be a good way to let people know what I’m listening to every now and then. It also serves as a way for people to see how compulsive I am when it comes to spending money on records. I seriously CAN’T drive by the record store without stopping. It’s getting bad people. Real bad.
(I got this Bon Iver EP on vinyl with a digital download coupon,...
Maybe my most anticipated interview ever.
He is Legend.
I was once wrestled this man.
He has many names. Nakasone, Naca, and my personal favorite: Rob Bellious.
He also does this move called “The Hairy Bagel”, but I won’t explain that one.
Oh Christ when You’re ready to come back
I think I’m ready for You...

Sometimes, a song so accurately portrays the passions of my heart that I can’t help but feel in awe, emotionally defeated by it. With everything in me, I thank God for the peace he brings and the songs he uses to get me through the tough times.
I learned absolutely nothing from this. There is something wrong with Kanye West. Or something else is very, very right with him.

I have written about one of my favorites bands In Reverent Fear, several times before. I go on and on with friends about how I think they are one of the best bands of my generation and how it is completely absurd that more people haven’t taken notice. Seriously, it blows my mind that they aren’t huge! Go to their myspace and take a listen to The Dark Divider. If you aren’t...
I have no words.
Fuck Yeah! Ryan Gosling
Ready for your life to change?
I’ve been missing as of late, but I will be back soon with an ‘08 blowout post and an healthy update on my going-ons. But to tide you over, here’s probably the weirdest performance I’ve ever seen on Conan O’Brien. For whatever reason, Animal Collective, in all the weirdness, decided to play their very bizarre #1 to a most likely confused crowd. I like this band a...

My final thought is this: If — and this is a big if — Blink-182 were ever to...

Well, good to know that the band would put on a killer show if they came back, but c’mon! Stop teasing us, reunite!
Ladies and Gentlemen, the adorable Gale Beggy.
When you ________
When you don’t go to bed at night and then you start the next day with two 16oz Red Bull’s, you kinda want to die. Then, when you get on an airplane and can’t fit your carry-on suitcase in the overhead compartment and you have to take out your underwear in the top pocket to make it fit, and you’re holding up the line and people are starting at you, it only gets worse. And...
Cinema and the "magical negro"
I just read this really interesting and somewhat comical article about the idea of superhuman African Americans used in films. Go read the piece at Spoutblog.
Where The Wild Things Are.
Get excited.
For Miranda/Bon Iver Fans
So, Bon Iver is definitely one of my favorite new(er) artists. & There is this wonderful little site called Daytrotter that does these stripped down Daytrotter Sessions with a lot of different indie artists. Not only is it great to find a place where you can here alternative versions of songs by beloved artists, but every track on the site is free to download. I may have mentioned this...
